Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026This Privacy Policy explains how True Check Printing (TCP System), referred to here as "we" or "the Service," collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website (tcp-app.com) or our check printing and management application.
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account and use the Service, we may collect:
- Account information: your name, email address, company name, and phone number.
- Billing information: payments are processed by a third-party payment provider (see Section 4); we do not store your card details on our servers.
- Check and bank data: bank names, account numbers, check designs, and issued-check data (payee, amount, date) that you enter to use the Service.
- Usage data: general technical information such as browser type and access times, which helps us improve performance and diagnose issues.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the Service and operate your account, including printing checks and maintaining your archive.
- To manage your subscription, check balance, and renewals.
- To contact you about your account or provide support when needed.
- To improve the Service and fix technical issues.
3. Data Storage & Security
The Service is fully cloud-based, and your data (including check designs and your issued-check archive) is stored on secure cloud servers. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, but no data transmission or storage system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Payment Processing
Subscription payments are processed by Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record for your transactions. When you pay, your financial data is also subject to that payment provider's own privacy policy in addition to ours.
5. Sharing Data With Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We may share limited data with trusted service providers (such as cloud hosting and payment processing) only as needed to operate the Service, and may disclose information where required by law.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to run the website and remember your login session; we do not currently use third-party advertising trackers.
7. Your Rights
You may request to access, correct, or delete your data and account at any time by contacting us through the channels listed in the "Contact Us" section below.
8. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal or accounting obligations. When you delete your account, your data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and organizations and is not intended for personal use by anyone under 18.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision, and continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of it.
